Help modernise our machinery

At Hovicon, we work on high-quality metalworking every day. Our machinery consists of a combination of new and older CNC machines. This sometimes presents challenges, but above all offers plenty of scope for improvement.

That is why we are looking for a Senior CNC Specialist who not only operates machines but also helps to take our processes and machinery to the next level.

This is not a standard operator role, but a position for someone who thinks technically, optimises and provides direction.

What will you be doing

As a senior CNC specialist, you will be a key technical figure within our company.

Your responsibilities:

Setting up, programming and optimising CNC machines
Analysing and improving production processes
Contributing ideas on maintenance and technical improvements
Providing support during breakdowns and technical issues
Mentoring and training a junior CNC specialist
Contributing ideas on future investments in machinery and tooling

Hovicon International beschäftigt ca. 35 Mitarbeiter und ist in der Herstellung von Spendern (Pumpen) für die Dosierung von Saucen, Dressings und Reinigungsmitteln tätig.

Die Anzahl der Stunden pro Woche wird in gegenseitiger Absprache festgelegt, wir sind in dieser Hinsicht flexibel. Perfekt zu kombinieren mit einem Studium oder Kindern! Ihre tägliche Arbeit besteht hauptsächlich aus der Montage unserer Saucendispenser in unserer Fabrik in Nieuwebrug/Vijfhuizen. Bestimmte Teile der Spender werden mit CNC-Drehmaschinen hergestellt. Wenn Ihr Ehrgeiz darin besteht, diese Maschinen zu bedienen, können Sie dies durch eine interne Schulung erlernen.

15-38 Stunden pro Woche;
Befristeter Vertrag mit der Aussicht auf einen unbefristeten Vertrag, wenn die Leistungen gut sind;
Angenehmes Arbeitsumfeld in einem kleinen Team mit kurzen Wegen;
Gehalt je nach Alter und Erfahrung;

BBL: Medewerker productietechniek verspanen

Draaien, boren, frezen, slijpen: jij draait er je hand niet voor om!

Als verspaner maak je uit een stuk RVS staal of kunststof een goed eindproduct. Bijvoorbeeld een onderdeel van een dispenser. Daarvoor gebruik je verschillende technieken, zoals draaien, boren en frezen. Aan de hand van een werktekening ga je zelfstandig aan de slag op een CNC machine. Je spant het werkstuk op en stelt de machine in. Na het verspanen meet en controleer je of het product exact aan de eisen op de tekening voldoet. Op school leer je de verschillende verspaningstechnieken en tekeninglezen. Ook leer je alles over materiaalsoorten, over gereedschappen en over het werken met (CNC-)machines. Je leert hoe je ze afstelt, inricht en onderhoudt. Je gaat een BBL-leertraject volgen. Gedurende 2 jaar ga je 1 dag per week naar school en werkt 4 dagen per week bij ons erkend leerbedrijf.

Naar wie zijn wij op zoek?

Je bent creatief en je denkt in oplossingen. Je hebt twee rechterhanden. En ruimtelijk inzicht. Een klus die liever gisteren af was dan morgen? Laat dat maar aan jou over. Jij werkt netjes en snel. En je houdt je focus. Ook als je keer op keer dezelfde handeling moet doen. Elke klus in metaal is anders. Jij bent een alleskunner met een hart voor metaal. En je vindt het tof om elke keer weer wat nieuws te leren. Samen met je collega’s of zelfstandig. Woon je toevallig in de omgeving van Haarlem en wil je snel aan het werk? Wat bieden wij jou?

Opleiden tot medewerker productietechniek verspanen. Je gaat werken met de Ray Feng RSB-32 langdraaimachine met Mitsubishi MV70 besturing, de Ray Feng RSL-20 langdraaimachine met Mitsubishi M80 besturing en de Hyundai Kia SKT-200 met fanuc besturing. Bedoeling is dat je de opgedane kennis op school onder begeleiding in praktijk gaat brengen.

We are looking for:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a production environment;

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
A proactive and results-oriented work attitude;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
